Getting started with HCAPP configuration

HCAPP is configured around your company’s business processes using forms, fields, and workflows.
Before your team starts working with tasks, an administrator should complete the basic system setup.

Where configuration is done

All core business-process settings are located here: Profile → Forms

Important

System configuration is available only to users with the SUPER-ADMIN role.
If you don’t see the Forms tab under Profile, your account doesn’t have the SUPER-ADMIN role.

These steps are typically done once before your team starts working.

  1. Create a form for the business process
A form defines which tasks will be created and what data they store.

  2. Add and configure form fields
Fields define the data structure: text, dates, assignees, files, and other parameters.

  3. Configure a workflow (work stages)
A workflow defines the stages a task goes through and which actions are available at each stage.

  4. Assign access and roles
Access settings define who can create, edit, and view tasks.

  5. Enable extensions if needed
Extensions add additional automation and integrations.
