Date

Records a date, such as a planned visit or a document date.

When to use

Use it for booking, shipment, service, or invoice dates. Choose Due Date when the value represents the task deadline, or Created At for the system creation timestamp.

Settings

• Default value and Date format (date_format; schema default dd-mm-yyyy).
• Primary date (is_primary_date_field): marks the date used as the task's primary date. Only one Date field per form can be primary.
• Maximum days back (max_days_back): limits how far in the past a date may be when creating a task. Empty, zero, or non-positive values disable this limit. It is not a general restriction on later edits.
• Bold text, color, field size, and inline layout.

For example, allow a delivery date up to three days in the past when staff register recent deliveries.
