Due Date

Records the task deadline. Saving this field also updates the task's due date.

When to use

Use it for a response deadline, delivery cutoff, or completion target. Choose Date for an ordinary business date that should not serve as the deadline.

Settings

• Default value and date format (date_format; schema default dd-MM-yyyy).
• Default value parameters (default_value_params): source field (from_field), operator (+, -, =, or empty), offset in hours (hours), and optional conditions (show_if).
• Bold text, color, field size, and inline layout.

For example, configure a deadline 24 hours after a source date. Use one clear deadline field for a task: multiple Due Date fields write to the same task-level deadline. A date offset describes the default calculation; it does not by itself configure notifications or a working-day calendar.
