Form

Links the current task to a task from another configured form. It creates a record relationship instead of storing only a copied label.

When to use

Use it to select a customer on an order, a vehicle on a trip, or a product in a table row. Choose Choice for a short fixed list with no separate records. Choose Associated table to display tasks linked back to the current task.

Settings

• Source form (parent_form_id): the form from which a task is selected.
• Custom fields (custom_fields, form_field_ids): fields used for the selection display.
• Autofill (auto_fill, auto_fill_settings): mappings from a source field ID to a destination field ID.
• Choice filter (choice_filter): a source Choice field ID and a non-empty list of allowed string values.
• Default value, color, and inline layout.

For example, select a customer and copy configured contact fields into a new order. Autofill copies mapped values; use a relationship view when you need to inspect the linked record itself.
