Email

Stores an email contact value in a dedicated field.

When to use

Use it for a customer's contact email, a supplier's address, or a driver identity mapping. Use Textarea for a message body and Person to select an HCAPP user.

Settings

Name, default value, duplicate-check configuration (check_duplicates), bold text, color, field size, and inline layout are supported.

A dedicated Email field communicates the expected kind of contact data. It does not send a message by itself; configure the relevant email workflow separately.
