GPS

Captures a device location through the browser's geolocation feature. The form interface obtains latitude and longitude.

When to use

Use it to record a location during a site visit, inspection, or delivery. Choose Textarea for a written address, or Link for a map URL supplied by a user.

Settings

The field schema accepts a name, title inclusion, inline layout, and common workflow conditions. There are no map-provider or continuous-tracking settings in this schema.

Location capture needs browser permission and an available device location. This is a point-in-time location, not a vehicle tracking history. The field can be configured in the backend, but GPS is not listed in the generic task-item creation schema; integrations should not assume they can submit GPSField through that request.
