Time tracker

Records work sessions with start and stop controls, accumulating elapsed time in hours.

When to use

Use it for service work, repairs, or time spent handling a request. Choose Number for a manually entered estimate, and Date or Due Date for calendar dates and deadlines.

Settings

Name, bold text, inline layout, Show intervals (show_intervals), and Show name (show_name) are supported.

Starting records the server's current time. Stopping adds an interval with start time, end time, and duration, and increases the accumulated hours. Recorded duration is rounded to 0.001 hour. For example, a technician can record several work sessions on the same repair task. This field records elapsed time; it does not itself calculate an invoice amount.
