Signature

Captures a signature in the form interface and stores it as an attached file. The backend handles its files through the same file-item service used by Files.

When to use

Use it for a delivery handover, completion acknowledgement, or inspection sign-off. Choose Files to attach an already prepared document or photo.

Settings

• Immutable after save (immutable_after_save): the interface prevents clearing a submitted signature when enabled.
• Default value and configured file IDs (file_ids).
• Name, color, field size, title inclusion, and inline layout.

Signature is supported both as a top-level field and as a Table column. For example, each handover row can carry its own signature. The save-lock option is an interface behavior; the generic backend update path does not enforce it as a tamper-proof record lock.
