Is Finished

A system field representing whether the task is finished.

When to use

Use completion metadata to distinguish finished tasks from open work. Choose a Choice status for business stages such as New, In progress, or Waiting, or a Yes/No Choice for an independent flag.

Settings and behavior

The creation schema accepts only type: IsFinishedField; it has no options list or user-entered default. The model marks it as a system field and exposes the field resource as SystemField.

Task completion is managed by task/workflow operations. Selecting a business status is not the same as finishing a task. Presentation of this metadata depends on the system-field support in the interface.
